This online course provides an introduction to cultural competence and cross-cultural communication. Participants will learn to recognize cultural dimensions, analyze communication styles (direct/indirect, formal/informal), and navigate language barriers. The course covers federal laws protecting LEP patients, effective communication strategies, and the importance of avoiding false fluency and misinterpreting idioms. (Duration: 20 minutes)
